Sugar Cookies

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and shortening, add egg, vanilla, and orange peel.
  2. Combine dry ingredients and milk.
  3. Roll dough into halves and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll ½" thick on a floured board.
  5. Cut and bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
