Steamed Eggs
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 6 shrimp (optional)
- 1 C water
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp water
- Dash of sesame oil
Directions
- Marinate the shrimp in salt and white pepper
- Combine soy sauce, water, and sesame oil and set aside
- Whisk the eggs until very smooth, then add water
- Strain the egg mixture through a fine metal sieve into a heat-proof bowl
- Steam for 6 minutes on high heat
- Add shrimp to the top of the eggs and steam for another 2 minutes
- Top with sauce mixture and serve
