Sausage Balls
Ingredients
- 1 lb bulk hot sausage
- 3 C Bisquick
- 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
- Combine ingredients and knead until well mixed.
- Shape into 1" balls and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 25 minutes. You can substitute other cheeses for cheddar, like marble jack or pepper jack, both of which have a very nice flavor.
Chef's Notes
- Total prep time is 30 minutes. Incorporating ingredients takes approximately the time needed to pre-heat the oven. Using a stand mixer will significantly decreases prep time
- Use 2 oz cookie scoop to form the balls
- ½ C milk
- ½ C grated parmesan cheese (4 oz)
