Hard-Boiled Eggs

Directions

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
  2. Pierce the large end of each egg with a push pin and gently lower the eggs into the water. The hole in the shell will allow air to escape during the cooking process.
  3. Cover and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  4. Drain and place the eggs in ice water to stop the cooking process.
  5. Peel under cold running water.
