Creole Tomato Sauce

  1. Sauté the vegetables in the oil until the onions are translucent.
  2. Add the tomato sauce, bay leaf, thyme, and Creole seasoning and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat immediately and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and adjust the seasonings.
