Crawfish Pie
Ingredients
- 1 lb peeled crawfish
- ½ C green onions, chopped
- 3 tbs butter
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 4 eggs
- ¼ C celery, chopped
- 2 C milk
- 1 C Bisquick
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ lb C Swiss cheese
- ½ tsp white pepper
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red pepper
Directions
- Melt butter in black iron skillet and sauté onions, garlic, and celery until limp. Add crawfish and seasonings and simmer for five minutes.
- Grease pie plate and add crawfish mixture. Beat eggs and milk together and add Bisquick and beat well.
- Sprinkle crawfish mixture with cheese and pour Bisquick mixture on top.
- Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes. You can adorn the top with any cheeses you like!
