Chocolate Fudge Glaze

  1. Combine butter, milk, sugar and corn syrup to a heavy-bottomed pan. To this mixture, add the baker's chocolate broken into small pieces. Chocolate can either be broken or cut, since this is only to facilitate melting.
  2. Stir the mixture over medium-low heat until the mixture reaches a rolling boil. Stir the mixture constantly and fairly rapidly for one minute, and then remove from heat. Cool the mixture. This can be done either in the pan in which the mixture was heated, or in a stainless steel bowl refrigerated.
  3. Once the mixture has cooled sufficiently, whip the vanilla into the mixture.
