Chocolate Fudge

Directions

  1. Bring evaporated milk and margarine to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Cook covered over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until steam washes away the sugar crystals on the side of the pan (the soft ball stage). DO NOT STIR.
  3. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, and stir until melted.
  4. Add marshmallow cream, nuts, and vanilla and beat until thick. Pour into 2 buttered 9x13 dishes and cool.
