  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Combine mix, milk and cheese with a wooden spoon until soft dough forms, then beat vigorously 30 seconds.
  3. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Combine butter and garlic powder and brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
  5. Serve warm - makes 10 large biscuits.

  1. Preheat over to 425°
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt, half of the garlic powder and baking soda.
  3. Cut in 3 tbs butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, add cheese, then stir in buttermilk just until moistened.
  4. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
  5. Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
  6. Melt remaining butter, stir in parsley and remaining garlic powder, and brush over biscuits.
  7. Serve warm.
