Basic Butter Frosting
Ingredients
- 3 tbs butter
- 3 tbs shortening
- 1½ tsp vanilla
- 3 C confectioners' sugar
- 1½ tbs milk or cream
Directions
- Cream butter with vanilla.
- Add confectioners' sugar gradually, beating thoroughly after each addition.
- Stir in milk and beat until frosting is of spreading consistency.
