Basil Grilled Chicken

  1. Press pepper into meaty sides of chicken thighs. Combine melted butter chopped basil and stir well. Brush chicken lightly with melted butter mixture.
  2. Combine softened butter, minced fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until well blended and smooth. Transfer to a small serving bowl and set aside.
  3. Grill chicken over medium coals 8-10 minutes per side, basting frequently with remaining melted butter mixture. Serve grilled chicken with basil-butter mixture. Garnish with fresh basil sprigs.
