Basic Waffles

  1. Mix Dry: Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Add Wet: Whisk eggs into milk and stir into dry ingredients.
  3. Finish Batter: Add butter, oil, and vanilla; fold gently with a silicone spatula. Do not overmix, some lumps are fine.
  4. Cook Waffles: Preheat a Belgian waffle iron. Pour ½ cup batter onto the center and spread outward in a circular motion.
